Proper cleanser also prepares your skin to absorb products you may put on after, like a serum or moisturiser. Too harsh facial soaps can actually cause skin to increase oil production, so it’s better to use more gentle products.

How to do it
Massage the cleanser around your face for at least one minute, preferably even longer. Yes, it feels like a long time, but this will allow enough time for a proper cleanup. It will also allow the active ingredients to absorb into the skin. 
Changing the water temperature is not too good idea, since that only adds a shock reaction to the skin. Best water temperature is lukewarm water.

Tip
Our cleansing products can also be used as a mask to balance the skin before going to bed. Apply on the face for 5 minutes before applying the moisturiser. Rinse off with lukewarm water or remove with a cotton pad and facial toner.
